At Recovery Works, we provide educational, behavioral, and developmental programs as needed to promote the health and well being of adults throughout Kentucky and other states in the region. We work with people at our facility to help them through their dependency issues, providing therapy and treatment for chemical dependency.

We work to incorporate the family in the treatment of the client whenever possible. We believe that this helps to ensure that positive results are achieved. Each of our clients has an individualized treatment plan that is custom suited to their needs. The majority of therapy comes from the program in a group setting.
Co-occurring Issues and Medication Assistance
Over fifty percent of chemically dependent persons experience co-occurring disorders such as depression, anxiety, anger, obsessions, compulsions or insomnia. Recovery Works medical staff will provide appropriate consultation and recommendations for medication management services. Success in treatment increases as the co-occurring disorders are properly diagnosed and treated. On the other hand, many mental health issues are resolved in the first week and month of abstinence due to the physical and mental benefits of establishing a drug and/or alcohol free lifestyle. Additionally, the Recovery Works medical staff will evaluate clients who may benefit from new non-addictive medications to assist them in dealing with overwhelming compulsions and cravings to return to the use of alcohol and other drugs.
